[Archive] Viewing m2 files in MWCS fix
Quote: Many have had problems with not being able to view m2 files in MWCS lately and there is one fix that fixes it but makes the textures invisible. You simply delete M2craft.dll which is located inside your MWCS folder. Voila. Now you can access m2 files without getting MWCS crashed. The models will look white as the textures are invisble but they are there.

Quote: Edit : Thanks for this, at least it doesnt crash anymore. However, im still having major problems with WCS. Firstly, when I open Patch.mpq it doesnt have all the models etc. but common.mpq does. However, in Common I cant view any models, textures I can see fine but no models show up at all. Any solution?

with the new patch you cant view m2 files in MWCS so I use wowmodelviewer for that. I just use MWCS for finding names of the files and extracting and packing mpqs.
ALL files are in common.mpq all textures all models. the end.
