yes, spell visuals can be shared by multiple spells, you need to create copies of those rows and change them back down the chain.
So, first you copy the spellvisual.dbc row to a new id, and change the spell visual id in your row in spell.dbc. Similarly when you change any of the spell visual kits, you create a copy of the row, make your changes, and change the id in your copied row in spellvisual.dbc

they might not have the same spell visuals, but those spell visuals might have the same spell visual kits
