If you find the m2 you could attach it to the back of the npc with a visual attachment on a invisible spell aura

Mmh this sound interesting. Is there any spell with similar visual attachment to learn from? I still have to dig the visual part of spells

Don't know off the top of my head, on my phone. But if you look at existing spells visual effects and attachments in the spell editor you should get a feel for the structure, and converting an effect to an attachment is 1 button press
