So I noticed something, the original model has like 50 different meshes, but in the mario export I leave only 1 mesh left, and doing the same thing in the original model will result in the same crash, maybe something important was lost in one of those meshes?

It's a bit out of my league to be able to help too much, but I guess the easiest way to verify that would just be to see if the crash persists on your model with the original geosets.
