If the model is loading but is green then the .m2 and .skin are fine you just arent applying texture

Npnp, if the model was converted from another source then it might be set incorrectly (Wow can only use blp2 configuration)

Well m2mod's the only real option if you want to edit models in blender. I use 9.0 to get a model from retail, edit it in blender, convert back to m2, use multiconverter to downport and you're usually golden. Granted I'm still new to this myself.

There's WoW Blender Studio which is a lot more polished and recent, but I think that's only for mapping stuff right now
