M2Scenes the UI makes cannot render WMOs (let alone terrain), but it is strange to see that they are in the same array as the CWorldScene itself

it makes me think that M2Scene and CWorldScene are compatible, that I could add WMOs there if only I initial some stuff and set some flags.

CWorldScene is likely a base class, which M2Scene inherits

I would have thought it would be the other way around

if CWorldScene is the base class it would be incredibly easy

That is what I said is probably the case, my wording might've been confusing

I know that Actors, which usually go on an m2scene, are compatible with the WorldScene

I was able to cause them to appear on the WorldScene (I think), though it didn't seem like they had world coordinates so they just appeared at the center of my screen and camera/pos didn't affect them. Maybe there's some scene dedicated to the UI and that's what they were added to.
