What you might find though and you'll have to benchmark a few hosts is you may find a host where the shared networks aren't being hogged as much.

True, if I could I'd be running on my old host from a few years back. Full dedi with gigabit, 16gb ram, 2tb ssd and a 10tb ddos protection plan for like 90$/month
