Like... Blizzard seem to have redefined the meaning of "continent", it seems to translate to a zone which seems to be an area very isolated like azeroth is to kalimdor, to northrend, etc. So Darkmoon Island would be the same, isolated making it a zone but really if the meaning of continent was the same as in real terms then... Darkmoon Island would be too small to meet the criteria but I'm getting it a bit better now.
