It hardcodes the textures in a different way than it's done in WotLK and older clients can't read it properly due to that, giving broken textures. Usually white textures specifically but I've seen a few other weird things so that might be your issue. That's all I know about it unfortunately, I'm not knowledgable about modeling to understand the specifics.

Disclaimer: If you have the knowledge and experience with modelswapping on newer clients remember that its always best to explore on the proper builds, this release is purely for convenience. Downporting is not a 1-to-1 thing, m2s render weirdly, some fogs are broken etc. Welcome to the museum! T...

This is also a problem, not related to your mpqs. Im guessing you have two noggit installs

For these, basically do what I mentioned above, load them up in 010 editor, run a search for .blp, then pull any .blps it mentions from a later client and put them in a patch along with the weapons using proper folder that it looks for, you should see the whole file path. Once those are in you need to make an itemdisplayinfo entry in the DBCs and then a weapon using that display ID.

Hmm. I'm not sure then, sorry. That's everything I've tried for fixing stuff. Make sure you did the TXID fix on a fresh model if you didn't though. Otherwise, the only other thing I can think of is pulling the Legion client version from wow-tools and converting that. You don't need TXID for that one since it's Legion and it may convert better.
