is it a custom server ? the main reason I can think why this would happen is if you mix patches like HD models with a private server's custom patches

WoW's patches are not really "patches", they override each other and are not meant to be applied like mods where you can ahve multiple

if you play on a custom server just don't use any other patch really, it's up to that server to distribute hd patches or not

U can use HD patches if u have em in the last load order slot(s).
