Hi, I'm looking into SkillRaceClassInfo.dbc. Pretty standard stuff really, I know how the masks operate, I confirmed this by checking the masks for plate, mail and shields, all checks out. Then I checked swords.

8 rows.

Okay, I thought, I get it, not all races know swords from the start even though the class can learn it (f.e. swords for orc warriors). But there is nothing in the DBC that would be different about the rows. Sure, each row has a different race / class mask combination which points to the reason above, but that's it. All the flags are the same.

I even checked the database but I don't see the unique IDs referenced anywhere, everything refers to skills through their ID from SkillLine.dbc and what skills character should have are defined in playercreateinfo_skills - again refered by IDs from SkillLine.dbc

WTH am I missing? Please?

Blizzard files have a lot of things with them that don't make sense. To my knowledge there is nothing that externally references SkillRaceClassInfos
