as I said. Idk if there is a relaod command for your wander_distance stuff. I dont use reload commands. You need to restart the server after set wander_distance / movementtype.

I remember some server performed wander distance instantly. Not sure if it was wotlk TC or AzerothCore.

eh I dont know any world table you can edit during runtime sooo a restart or if a reload command for that tables exist is always needed

I think it would work by instantiating and attaching motor to the NPC alongisde the .npc set wanderdistance cmd. But that wouldn't be best pratice I'd say. Because it could lead to different behaviour (same as with .wp load, which loads waypoint to the NPC, but it is not "saved" to the memory, instead it just dispatches NPC to walk the path but since it's not inside the instance it will stop if it's interrupted until the first restart which will load it finally the correct way )
