Hey all! I'm attempting to somewhat future proof my server because it's become more difficult to get the legacy clients to run on higher versions of windows... So I have been able to troubleshoot my way through getting the master branch up and running but I have a question on the SSL certs.

My understanding is: To be able to access the server from the outside (which I do regularly due to travel), you have to generate domain specific certificates. I've used win-acme for this purpose... which seems to be working. However, the certificate expires in 2 months. When I renew it, will I need to copy that to my client folder as well or do I just renew it on the server side and all is good?

While I could just wait 2 months and find out, I figured I'd ask

if you dont use a self-signed certificate then client pc doesnt need any extra setup, you only need to refresh the server
