cause I'm reading through the code and there seems to be no guarantee that the aura will not retain that max duration

leading to possible issues where someone could refresh the duration of the aura through pandemic? attribute I believe on purpose to retain that increase in max duration

unless I'm reading wrong and we shouldn't be modifying max duration at all, just adding to current duration even though the duration added plus remaining may surpass max duration in that case
