it's a common problem, all new games use avx, and all gamers complain because they didn't changed the cpu since 10 years ago, just the graphics card

also since WoW doesn't uses AVX itself there is not much sense to have AVX in the launcher

I never target max compatibility. I target supported operating systems and I target recommended specs (or slightly below those) for the games I do tools for.
The avx part was a little accident tho. But I won't change the behavior there.
But I also dropped support for stuff like windows 7
