Yes. Before this, deleting the WTF folder saved me 1 time

Just stopped downloading at 23%. I unchecked the “read only” checkbox and was able to log into the server.

I just deleted the WTF folder and entered the game through the official Wow.exe. I left the game, indicated my set portal, entered the game through Arctium and by some miracle I was allowed back in

also it could be also random, sometimes will work other times it doesn't, no need to re-download the client each time i think
