I have an idea of posting video guides for stuff, but i need a easy fast way to make them smaller and shit, and a nice easy place to upload them. Know of anything good?
And
can fraps record your screen and not just wow or games or w/e?
I just used snagits screen recording feature, and comparing it to fraps, this is what I got:
with fraps - 1min:42sec is 626 MB - and using my screen recorder from Snagit, 1min42sec is 47 MB - both save as avi
Theres gotta be a better alternative :\

you can compress them to xvid/divx, or if you are using vegas you can render them as wmv. there are tons of other codecs, but thats what i do.
For uploading i would use filefront

ahh yes, Snagit does have lower FPS, and I bet it compresses it.
