for nothing? is like 7 expansions worth of content LOL that can be implemented over time, I really don't understand the argument why not to have a master branch lol, even if there is no data for it even if it's full of crashes, even if nothing works lol, I would still like to poke around with latest client than play the same tired old game from 10 years ago

still master is for data miners, reverse engineers to practice their skills, programmers, people that are passionate about this kind of stuff it's the perfect place to improve and test stuff and overcome challenges
it's not about playing the game at least for me

well when you reversed engineered almost everything about a game what challenge does it poses? none, it's boring, it's old, almost everything is already known how it works etc.

it's just busy work to fix all the bugs in a quest or script some boss that was missed
