cant fix them without source access. but at the same time, the amount of hackfix, custom content, and straight up butchering because the repack makers dont know what they are doing makes it hard to even give trouble shooting advice

i know the emucoach ones has a "license" call back that sends off your computer's information to their "servers". they claim its to validate subscriptions, but at the same time, no source is provided and no information on what computer information is being sent off to validate the "license"

then there is some with bitcoin mining snuck into them from whati heard. have not seen it first hand. but i guess coin miners can be snuck in anything these days
