I had all of that too, except that my object wouldn't mount in the vehicle so that it would run synchronously. I had specified in the creature_template that the object should mount in the vehicle, but it didn't work, that's the only problem I have. Everything else works fine.

I thought that would make it possible.
You can implement everything 1:1, but there is no way to let anything get into a vehicle.

other option is: SMART_TARGET_ACTION_INVOKER_VEHICLE (Unit's vehicle who caused this event to occur) There are no more options for vehicles
