I also finds it amazing how MariaDB developers say at https://mariadb.com/kb/en/mariadb-vs-mys...-and-mysql that there are incompatibilities between MariaDB and MySQL, and yet MariaDB users think they know better and say that there are no issues

did you check 1 by 1 each query and verified that the returned data is 100% the same in both database ? I doubt it, as you don't want to install MySQL, which means you can't compare them
