I have a technical question. How long do temporary spawned NPCs stay spawned in an instance? Because I organize events there and the players don't always have to relive the intro after a wipe. Therefore, if everyone releases the spirit and immediately runs/flies back into the instance, everything should still be there, right?

You can hopefully track down the commit where they added/changed the behavior and see their source and what led them to change it if you're lucky, but ultimately things can be wrong even with a good source
