I would also like the Storm Wind where you can fly, but thanks to that bug or whatever I didn't use the other model. and transferring everything to another map id is surely a lot of work

Did you try to just "cheat" the system by just adding your own occlusion portal to the WMO?
Would maybe override the hardcode and safe you from tons of work

I think I'm going to just download a fresh copy of 3.3.5 and copy it's tools folder entirely into my source. Make sure I have a 100% fresh and up to date extractor, and go from there.
