if you wanna do it properly, talk to every questgiver, talk to every npc you can talk to, open every vendor, do every dungeon, do every activity, listen to every npc dialogue. it all gets gathered and we need that data

Yeah understand. I will just run the sniffer then. Meanwhile to test some stuff while the data is not available would it be possible to migrate SqL entries from old Cata preservation project and import them to the new version? Will this work ?

that's what we partially did already. and yes, some of the data can be converted or even ported 1:1

I'm not convinced opening an issue is necessarily the right course of action in this case. Opening issues makes sense when the vast majority of functionality works. When the vast majority of functionality is missing, the authors are aware of that, and opening issues is just generating noise
