Well you're always waiting for the slowest map, which is going to be the continents on Blizzlike servers.
I don't think horizontally distributing maps helps unless you allow world updates at different rates for different maps

I know, but in that code the check goes on Pre-BC and Post-BC and TC only 3.3.5a and that's it, why check before or after?
