Well, a dead body disappears after X minutes, in my case the dead body of an elite NPC.
It disappears after 2 minutes 30 seconds if it is dead, but with the command despawn 240 seconds I want to ensure that it only despawns after 4 minutes.
Unfortunately it still despawns after 2 minutes 30

You need to use SMART_ACTION_SET_CORPSE_DELAY

ahh ok, because for the quest the body has to stay lying there for longer, because then an npc runs up to it but always disappears.

did you mess with Corpse.Decay.ELITE? its default is 5 minutes
