Just to be clear. I switched to vscode about two years ago. Geting NPP to run under Ubuntu was too much of a hassle. You can riff about vscode all you want but the ability to run under both *nix and win and sharing the config is great. And i don't care about a 10sec startup instead of 1sec^^

I use np++ only when I want to open 1 single file as text. For everything else I right click on an empty spot of the folder I want to open and "Open with Code"
