♂️ I've never looked into it.
https://github.com/tswow/TrinityCore It looks like it's a fork of TC that comes repacked in the releases.
You could use it to build all the client / DBC edits required then move that to your version of TC. You don't need the server side API neccessarily, can add those changes manually
