Any idea why I am able to log into to my server, and see my realm, but when I click it to enter it just hangs for a while and cancels the request showing the realm list ?

I just checked all the ports then seem open and fine. They are all TCP right?

neither server spits out any failure informaiton, they both seem to be running ok

sticks on logging into gameserver. It seems like there should be a place to see the error report or logs

if its all 127.0.0.1 should be no issue on your local. but if the server and client is else where on different machines then you need to adjust for the ip in the confs and the auth database

yea, had it working years ago - just thought i'd fire it up again. Ports seem ok and passing through router and firewall. but still sticks on "logging into game server". Oh well, must be a port issue somewhere. Maybe it does need UDP.

ahhh, seems i remember you need to set your IP in the DB driectly somewhere. I'm sure my wan ip changed.
