Coming back around to the `TrinityCore does not support MySQL versions below` error. I was using MariaDB 10.5.1 for 22101 and it was working fine. I just updated to 23011 and now I am getting the error from DatabaseWorkerPool.cpp (https://github.com/TrinityCore/TrinityCo...ol.cpp#L72). Its like it is not detecting the `LIBMARIADB` or `MARIADB_PACKAGE_VERSION_ID` preprocessor variables. How are those actually set?

I tried that. I used MySQL 8.0.32 and it still reported I was using a version that was too low.

Which is why I asked how these variables are actually set. I have TC running in a docker container and it pointed to the MySQL container and still reported a severely incorrect value.

Are these set by installing `libmysqlclient-dev` and `mysql-server` for MySQL and `libmariadb-dev` and `mariadb-server` for MariaDB?

Like, do I need to change the dependencies and rebuild the solution to use a new SQL provider?

<@328917335392124930>
Just wanted to say "Thank you" for the advice on how to set up a second independent realm. Everything works fine for now.
Might write that down in some sort of guide somewhere. Really not that difficult.

To anyone in the future that reads this, the answer is yes. For me in particular, updating the apt-get install line to the contents noted in https://www.trinitycore.info/en/install/...ents/linux was necessary.

FWIW the note says Ubuntu 20.04 or lower is not supported, but at this time I used 20.04 successfully.

Spent way longer on this than I needed to. Not sure why 23011 completely borked my installation.
