So, going from a 2009 repack to my first freshly compiled 335 TC server a few weeks back I notice talents as quest reward (still?) does not work? Is this hardcoded into DK quests specifically and difficult to implement or something else? Will we see talent points as quest rewards working for any quests in the future?

I literally gave first quest in valley of trials 5 talent points as reward. tried doing it with a level 1 who I then dinged to 10 to see talents, and then with a levle 12

perhaps it only works with new quests and not old. Will have to try some stuff or see if someone can manage to think of the most reasonable explanation

Player::CalculateTalentsPoints() has a hardcoded check for death knights that makes it ignore quest rewarded talents if you arent a dk

right, perhaps Drikish thought I meant it didnt work for DKs. DK works just fine, its all the rest that doesnt work
