if the docker server is on linux and you try to connect from windows pc at home, yes you have to allow remote connections

I can connect from everywhere it seems, mysql from my local bash works (I'm hosting the server remotely), HeidiSQL works, I think it's just the 'auth' database hasn't been created, I'm wondering if I can just add it manually
