I got your reply late on my end. I’ll check to see if your theory regarding the game_event is true. But I highly doubt it. The disciple of blood, a sort of a death knight understudy at Acherus, was given a new weapon as well. I doubt they have a tie in to a game event but you may never know. I’ll get back to you.
