Trying to setup a server for friends to play on together for WotLK with a website registration and as much working as possible, I see repacks list like how much is functioning and stuff... but who knows really how much works lol

I am kinda new to this, i have done repacks before but compiling and running it all myself, little different. So if i compile the code and make the server, how do updates work?

like if i set it up now and then have people playing and all that jaz, then a update drops do i need to remake the server?
