I've had problems with remote connection before too, except getting error WOW51900319 instead

the only other thing I can imagine affecting it would be the local address, you can try changing it from 127.0.0.1 to the local machine-specific private IP (like 192.168.0.127 as an example)

this I'm not sure about, I haven't went deep enough into the networking specifics just yet to tell you if UDP is being used, I opened it on both though for the sake of assurance
