no idea but its def a configuration issue on your end, no username is hardcoded anywhere (especially not root)

Ohh right, dumb thing, I was missing the port parameter in one of the lines.
One last question, by chance is there a link for the 11 client? Should I get it at blizzard? It doesn't seem to be mentioned anywhere.

we don't provide client download links here. the current retail client is version 11.0.5 and trinity is currently still at 11.0.2. 11.0.5 will eventually happen, just not right now
