Well, I think I may have resolved the issue. Been at least 20 min (Likely more like 45) and the issue hasn't resurfaced.. I edited resolv.conf to have the nameserver point to 1.1.1.1. Did a chattr +i on the file. BOOM! For some reason the DNS resolution it was pointing to (my router) was being a bit of a bitch I guess?
