Thanks for the info, I think what i am doing is possible, given that it works if i start the container and then manually start mysql But getting it to start on its own may not be possible with my level of knowledge. Thanks for looking at this with me, i know you guys dont support this method of instillation. I will ask around some other places, and then try to official Mysql docker image.

Well, running AC on the NAS wasnt really a choice, its the available hardware i have without buying a different computer for this project. And Docker is the only way to run this kind of program from there. I did try the standard AC docker build instructions, but like myname said, Synology runs older versions of docker for stability reasons. So they didnt work on my first try. Now that i have gotten newer versions, maybe i will try that method again.

But then the idea of running an ubuntu image and adding what i need poped into my head, and i have been working on that. I just have to figure out how to start and run the applications i install into the container.
