yeah, dont need to do that. the second one, I'm not sure if there is a clear answer, including for the traditional install

Doesn't seem to hurt anything to just run the command, so I'll just do it by default - should probably be another instruction tweak, tell people to just run it rather than saying 'when the client data changes' when there's no easy way to tell if it has and no penalty for doing it when it hasn't

Yeah, client-data is also automatic and run every time (since it just exits successfully if theres nothing to do) in my PR
