nah. IMO the most annoying magic that docker does is punching holes in the firewall, but it doesn't mess with the config for the internal application or anything

It was originally that there was a "dockerdist" file that contained the configs that docker needed, and a shell script that was a part of the acore dashboard would replace the keys in the main .conf with whatever was in that dockerdist

turns out this is a pain in the ass and I hate complexity/magic/extra processes that basically force the use of the scripts on top of plain old cmake, so the Env Var config (imo) is a much more desirable way to have set proper default configs for Docker. It just so happens as well that env vars for configs are really handy anyways, so it works out to add all the configs to docker (assuming it works properly )

No argument here, but I still think the variable name formats should be brought into alignment, rather than converted
