the steps ive done are
- change 'address' column in acore_auth.realmlist
- forward those two ports
- get her to change her realmlist to my external ip

Okay, so first off double check (with authserver and worldserver running) that the ports are indeed being forwarded correctly: https://www.yougetsignal.com/tools/open-ports/
And second, a very common issue people have with HeidiSQL is that they edit the defaults of the realmlist table and not the actual data in there, should look like this:
