i do get quite a lot warnings when syncing, like `[WARN] GUID 95022 could not be matched to displayable area [A:0; X:-10956.1; Y:-10956.1]` so maybe that could cause it, the guid is used when defining the locations of npcs etc

Wait, aowow does know where the creature is, I think it's just that it can't display it on the map so it says it's unknown
