yeah, the error is still "undefined reference to OSSL_PROVIDER_load and OSSL_PROVIDER_unload

Upgrading OpenSSL has drawbacks, like this. I've never had it happen on my end but I know plenty of people have and they had to set the paths to OpenSSL 3.0 manually when running CMake and I frankly don't have the energy to research the variables you need to set when running CMake.
