could do the reverse, tack my main spell as a learn_spell onto my energy system for it

You shouldn't add it to the usable spell, no. It would be triggered every time, although I don't know how that would work if you already have what is trying to be taught. Regardless it's not the ideal solution.

i imagine simliar to me just typing .learn ##### every spell cast. a whole lot of nothing

k im almost there, i just need my server to finish compiling with these(https://github.com/Duskhaven-Reforged/Du...8ec4d2ef4e) changes so i can setup my spell charge system so i can test it
