I just got NPCbots working (building their integrated fork) and then saw the playerbots module and wanted to see if I could get that going together. Though looking at the playerbots module notes, I would have to rebuild using their specific fork of AC

The only way to do it is to
a) apply the npcbots patch yourself on the playerbots source
b) merge them into a single source

I don't think there'd be any conflicts but I have never tried it so I can't say for certain

Personally I prefer playerbots thanks to the wonderful amount of time and effort liyunfan has put into it.
