Sorry for my lack of understanding I am not a programmer just a hobbyist and wow enthusiest looking to make a server for myself just as a fun project. I keep encountering this error whenever I try install modules, is this a common error and if so what am I doing wrong/how to fix it.

You probably just need to remove `-master` from the mod folder name in your source build. Then rerun cmake and do a clean build in vs
