Seems like many modules could have their sql automatically loaded if they fixed their paths. i.e. '<mod_dir>/sql/world/some_file.sql' needs to go to '<mod_dir>/data/sql/world/base/some_file.sql', others maybe to 'updates', etc.
Since the skeleton module is correct, I guess this could be legacy stuff. Would it be worth issuing warnings from the core, in the hopes that developers would then fix their modules?

(Actually some are even part of the azeroth core org, and I can totally see how something like this just hasn't been a priority. But it might be worth fixing. I'll see if I can find the time for a few PRs)
