There you go, that's the most common issue. You need to go into the configs folder where authserver.exe and remove .dist from those files.

but i had to move those file from configs to relwithdebinfo cuz i had an arror saying they had to be in the same folder than authserver and worldserver

thats why i said i moved some files to be able to progress but thats not in the guide

Remember that the files have to be named authserver.conf and worldserver.conf, not authserver.conf.dist and worldserver.conf.dist - and type of file shouldn't be dist either or that's just wrong.
