If you clone to a different location as in folder, no it won't overwrite files.

If you choose a different database scheme name that that repack, no it won't wipe your existing database.

You would have to clone it and then move those files into the perfect folder and then compile to replace them. You can't clone in any way to cause that because it won't clone into a non-empty folder.

I can only assume the repack includes mysql (hence mysql 5.5.9) and he's going to install (hopefully) 8 himself so there's no chance of overriding the data.

alright i just want to make sure, im thinking the fastest and best way to handle it is snagging all the itemid's and creatureid's. then add them in after i confirm that people can join the server
