Well I am building a player reputation system
-255~255 range
When the player logins in it either INSERTS a new row into the appropriate table or it grabs the reputation value and displays it to the user
If a player wants to give positive or negative rep to another, they call the ".rep (+/-)" chat command.
If the player who wants to give rep calls the command, I want to display appropriate messages such that if the UPDATE query fails it will let the user know to contact the administrator or what to do from there.

Ideally it wouldn't fail, but I want to ensure it doesn't cause core crashes if possible.
